I live in south east England with my wife and two boys. I work for my local police force as a 999 call taker and dispatcher. It shows me a lot what the general public are like.

I love reading, writing, baseball, gaming and my family (not in that order).

I’m a budding author and intend to take part in Camp NaNoWriMo in August and NaNoWriMo this November. With luck, it will instil the habit I need to keep going. Will I ever publish? Who knows… If it’s good enough, sure, but it’s not my ultimate gaul. I just like writing, getting words down.

I suffer from a neurological disorder known as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) which is when the brain, or the nervous system, reads every nervous signal as pain. Right now, sitting here writing this, my foot is burning because I’m wearing a sock. However, it feels ice cold to touch. It’s an incurable disease and not many people know about it, so I and others fight to raise awareness.

This link will be about everything: Writing, Reading, CRPS, Buddhism, Tech, Gaming or just general things that come to me.

I found your website when searching for fitbit for wheelchair users. Those were interesting posts. My husband gave many fitbits for Christmas, but didn’t (yet) get one for our daughter’s boyfriend who uses a wheelchair, although like you he can stand and do some walking. Has it been useful in the past year?
